Coming home is weird. It's like it's not home anymore. It will be in the physical sense but things just don't feel the same after moving to college. It's also kind of depressing coming back and seeing people doing the same job they were doing in high school, and also having the same friendship issues. It's like nothing has changed, but it feels worlds different as to when I was a part of it...this makes sense in my head. I have changed, but the town hasn't. This doesn't mean in any way that I don't miss my closest friends, I miss them like crazy every single day. Living in Melbourne is amazing and I love my new found freedom. I love my new friends and the people I live with. I'm so grateful that I was encouraged not to defer my degree because if I did I wouldn't have the best job in the world, and I wouldn't be having the time of my life right now.
