Coming home is weird. It's like it's not home anymore. It will be in the physical sense but things just don't feel the same after moving to college. It's also kind of depressing coming back and seeing people doing the same job they were doing in high school, and also having the same friendship issues. It's like nothing has changed, but it feels worlds different as to when I was a part of it...this makes sense in my head. I have changed, but the town hasn't. This doesn't mean in any way that I don't miss my closest friends, I miss them like crazy every single day. Living in Melbourne is amazing and I love my new found freedom. I love my new friends and the people I live with. I'm so grateful that I was encouraged not to defer my degree because if I did I wouldn't have the best job in the world, and I wouldn't be having the time of my life right now. Appreciate every day with me, G. Looove x

First glob!
*Insert inspirational welcome music here*
HELLO. Happy Easter. This day of religious celebrations, over consumption of chocolate, family bbqs and outdoor adventures also marks the day I started this blog...Today is also the day that Fremantle beat Essendon by and in doing so have won their first 2 games of the season for the 2nd time in their history. Good on them and all but....COME ON ESSENDON. Give me some happiness, please.
I'm not entirely sure why I created this blog, probably because my Dad is watching the Malaysian Grand Prix and anything is more interesting than watching men drive around a track repeatedly in buzzed up cars. Unless the cars could fly or the men were blind folded. Or the track was built over lava and had no barriers on the sides. I would pay to see this actually.
I'm not promising anything, whether that be exciting or interesting content, routinely updates or updates beyond this first post really. You'll just have to wait and see how it turns out. Or not. Whichever you choose.
I saw something odd today. An Optus billboard of a wombat between 2 ladders going down 2 holes in the ground with the words "Albury, you now have a choice" which I assumed to mean that a) this town was represented by a wombat, and b) Optus and Telstra are holes in the ground with ladders going down them. I see an issue.... Wombats don't have thumbs.
Hugs and globs. xx

Owling.
I feel so loved up right now. Listening to Owl City gives me the same warm-fuzzies as when I come out of a good heart-felt movie... The lyrics and music are both equally amazing and magical, it makes me want to love someone for a very long time :) I'm listening to Vanilla Twilight on repeat, it is such a beautiful song, my favourite lyric: "the spaces between my fingers are right where yours fit perfectly". GAH. CUTE <3
